Granny is ready for her date at the opera house


Granny Venta very much enjoys reading "Alice in Wonderland" to her beloved granddaughter Martha, since it's her favorite bedtime story.

Granny Venta read aloud to her granddaughter, with little Martha sitting atop her lap all cozy and snug with her blanket and stuffed fox in her arms.

"And the Queen of Hearts loudly bellowed towards Alice, Off with her head!" to which Martha giggled to her Granny's dramatic voice.

The next day, she had an absolutely marvelous date with her handsome boyfriend at the opera house. The performance was just spectacular.

  Granny loves reading the tale of Cinderella to her lovely grandkids. Such a beautiful tale of love, full of magic and hope.
 
  The kids are so amazed at the fact that the Fairy Godmother transformed some rags into beautiful clothes, a mere pumpkin into a beautiful carriage and some rats into majestic horses.

  She watches her grandkids as they play pretend, reenacting their favorite parts of the story while she stays in her chair, pondering what dress should she wear tonight at the party thrown by her very own Prince Charming.

  After she puts her grandkids to sleep and tuck them in, she gathered her clothes, some pumpkins and some little rats and she was ready for  the night of her life.

  Granny made sure she was home by 12 o`clock, dont worry. But she may or may have not let one her expensive shoes behind for her boyfriend to find, just for the thrill of it.

Grandma loves Elsa's story from Frozen. Her family got her this outfit for her birthday. She is the Snow Queen ! Let it go...

2 days later her boyfriend invited her to a Great Gatsby Party. Grandma loves to dress up, her boyfriend knows how to make her feel special.

Grandma dressed as Pinocchio from "Pinocchio", reading about his adventures to her grandchildren. It was not only the story-telling but the whole performance! The kids were hypnotized... (+inspiration image)

Grandma on her date at a charity gala for ocean conservation



No one called grandma "The Little Mermaid" anymore; she was a woman much older, much wiser and much more willing to listen to reason. She recognized the folly of her youth and her choices to be among people who polluted her home and harmed her friends. While she'd given up her voice once she vowed she'd never be so powerless again, so even a night out on the town with her current partner was used as an opportunity to do good for others.

Grandma as "Little red riding hood"

           

Little Red Riding Hood.
That's the only story she's been willing to tell me, because she hates stories about fairies, princes charming and all those "cheesy stories"! You have to understand that my grandmother is a punk! And punks prefer stories about wolves eating grandmothers to stories about princes kissing sleeping princesses!

             

For her hot date, she remains herself: young or old, a punk remains a punk.

Granny reads her grandchildren's favorite book and dresses up as Rapunzel, a character that reminds them of their beloved grandma's hair. But Granny's hair is usually in a messy braid or bun, and it has been that way ever since her husband passed away many years ago.

Tonight Granny has a first date at the theater! Being nostalgic of her younger years, she decides to go all out and get a complete makeover. Remembering how her grandchildren love Rapunzel, Granny finds the courage and unbraids her neglected hair, embracing its grey color and revealing a true fairytale princess.

Grandma loves going all out and dressing up in a costume when she can. Her favorite pastime is playing dress-up and reading stories to her granddaughters. Tonight, they are reading Sleeping Beauty and Grandma is playing the Evil Fairy!


The next day, she has another wonderful opportunity to dress up, as she is going on a Regency-inspired garden promenade with some of her girlfriends!
