Ohh, I understand. Well, you should definitely still let yourself do the things you love. Maybe sometime you can fit it into your schedule to pick up a lit class somewhere on the side. Or even find a reading/discussion group online to participate in. :)
Maybe you can minor in comparative literature? You know, I had to make the same decision as well when I was in college. I was really into Philosophy, but I knew that degree was pretty much worthless. So I majored in Business Administration and minored in Philosphy. I hated studying business, but I just made myself get through the classes. I never ended up getting my degree anyway. I dropped out my last year because of my anxiety. Now, I either want to go to the Aveda cosmetology school or just get a two year degree working with animals as a vet tech. I felt like I wasn't prepared yet to make such a big decision in my life at the time, but I had no choice because my parents made me go to college.
Oh, that's cool I didn't realize that you lived in Italy. That's definitely a reasonable commute too. My boyfriend's mom's side and my mom's father's side are Italian immigrants to US. Law is a great area to study, you will be a sucess in it.
Yeah, I'm happy to be moving to a city that has more to offer me. Where I currently live is a dying city where the people are unhappy and it's not very glamorous here. Austin is a cleaner, growing tech city where a lot of young people are moving to and the art and music scenes are amazing especially because SXSW is hosted there. I just want more culture and nightlife to enjoy! I'm the type of person who wants to be young forever. :D

Preparation is slow. We're donating our furniture to the Salvation Army so we don't have to take a u-haul over 1,000 miles. So I'm just sorting through what we should donate or I'll have my mom ship to us. I'm really going to miss my family, but I spent the summer in Austin for my bf's job and fell in love with the city so I'm very happy to be moving there.
Thanks. :) I stayed up all night because I'm just excited over moving soon and buying a new car tomorrow. I'm working on a new signature, but that entails mapping out new Nineland purchases, lol. I'm kind of zombified now, but I'm afraid if I sleep now then I'll sleep all day. How are you doing? ♥
